Held at Bahill Glass workshop in rural Aberdeenshire, enjoy the quietness of the countryside and learn the traditional craft of leaded stained glass panel making.
Classes are for 1 to 3 people and are held regularly throughout the year.
Learn to design and draw your cutline pattern, cut glass, leading and soldering techniques and finish off with a cement.
All materials, tools and safety equipment are provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
Taster Days: £125 per person.
9.30a.m start. We make a small panel with around 7-10 pieces of glass. Finish time from 5p.m.
Beginners 2-Day Course: £160 per person.
9.30a.m. start. We make a panel with 15-20 pieces of glass. Finish time on day 2 depends on progress, usually between 3-5p.m.
Individual tuition: Take as long as you need to make a bespoke panel.

Due to current global pandemic and guidelines from Scottish government, lessons at Bahill Glass are on hold for now. When we can start again all caution will be taken with regard to cleanliness of tools and protective gloves and face-masks will be available.
Dates can be run as either a Taster Day or 2-Day Beginners depending on demand.
Evening classes of 6 week blocks covering the same as 2-Day Beginners courses, Tuesday or Thursdays, and more advanced lessons are also available.
