Stained glass specialist in north east Scotland
Aberdeen to Inverness and beyond.

Bahill Glass is an established stained glass workshop run by Carol Deadman, in Huntly, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

I undertake work in my local Huntly area as well as further afield in Aberdeenshire, Moray, north and east Scotland.

Restoration of damaged and old panels is done at my Huntly stained glass workshop, having taken them out of buildings and boarded up.  Sometimes in-situ repairs can be done, without taking whole window panels out.

I design and make commissioned stained glass and lead panels, for private homes and public buildings. From initial ideas to final design and glass choice, you are involved.

I also repair smaller glass and lead or copperfoil items.  That may be work on glass ('Tiffany' style) lampshades or glass and lead panels in cabinet doors. These items can be brought to my workshop, by appointment.

When time and space allow, courses in stained glass and lead panel making are run.

2024 Courses: I will be running 2-day beginners courses at 'Square Deal' in Huntly town. I take four students at a time so there is plenty 1:1 teaching time and plenty space. Please go to my 'lessons' page for more details and subscribe to my mailing list to receive new course dates. Thanks.

Please contact me to discuss your stained glass needs. Thankyou.

This piece was installed into a front door in a modern home and looks great, enabling light and colour to fill the hallway. It has a toughened glass panel on the outside for security and insulation.

Auchaber restoration

I needed a bit of help with this big piece.

In-situ it doesn't look too big as it's in proportion to the beautiful home, but moving it around for repairs takes some co-ordination.

You can see in the photo on the left that it has some broken glass and also, at some point, has been taken out and put back in the other way up with a tie-bar added near the top (across the roundels).

The fully restored window has now been put back in a new frame, with double glazing on the outside.

Some examples of my stained glass work - repairs, full restorations and new design and commissions.
