Held at Bahill Glass workshop in rural Aberdeenshire, enjoy the quietness of the countryside and learn the traditional craft of leaded stained glass panel making.
Learn to design and draw your cutline pattern, cut glass, leading and soldering techniques and finish off with a cement.
All materials, tools and safety equipment are provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
Taster Days: £150 per person.
9.30a.m start. We make a small panel with around 7-10 pieces of glass. Finish time from 5p.m.
Beginners 2-Day Course: £190 per person.
9.30a.m. start. We make a panel with 15-20 pieces of glass. Finish time on day 2 depends on progress, usually between 3-5p.m.
Individual tuition: Take as long as you need to make a bespoke panel.
Gift vouchers are NOT available at the moment.
Lessons are NOT available, due to lockdown.
When lessons commence they will be one-to-one unless 2 people are from the same household.
All caution will be taken with regard to cleanliness of tools and protective gloves and face-masks must be worn and will be available. On entering and exiting the workshop please use the hand-sanitiser provided. There will be at least 3 days between different visitors.
